Festival Quattro Corde

Sant’Agata Feltria

Festival Quattro Corde was founded for young string players to have the wonderful experience of working intensively with international pedagogues and pianists in a relaxed atmosphere. The course will take place in the beautiful authentic Italian village of Sant’Agata Feltria. The music making will revolve around the exquisite intimate Mariani Theatre, the oldest wooden constructed theatre in Italy.

Students will receive at least five lessons during the duration of the festival. They will have ample time to rehearse with one of the three professional, experienced pianists in preparation for lessons and concerts. A maximum of 28 participants will be accepted.

At least five formal concerts are planned and many try out will be possibilities.

Accommodation will be in a wing of the “Convento dei Cappuccini”. Practice rooms are available in the convent and nearby venues.

All meals will be catered for and taken at the convent.
