Dates:         Participants must arrive on Sunday 21st of August and depart on Thursday 1st of September

 

Mastercourse Fee:

The cost of participation in the Mastercourse is € 1 100.00, which will cover tuition, accommodation, meals and transfer from Bologna Airport to Sant'Agata and back. The balance of €800.00 (€1 100.00 minus application fee)   must be payed no later than the 1st of August 2022.


Application Fee: 

There is a non-refundable Application fee of €300.00. Acceptance to Festival Quattro Corde will only be confirmed when the Application Fee  has been received. This will be credited to the general Mastercourse fee. If a student cannot attend because of new COVID restrictions, the full application fee will be refunded.

Refunds:
There will be no refunds of any kind after 1st August 2022 unless cancellation is COVID related. Should an applicant have to cancel his/her participation in the Mastercourse prior to that date, a cancellation fee of € 300.00 will be debited from the total Mastercourse Fee.

 

Audition:
Applicants should forward an audition recording of two contrasting pieces by different composers in different styles. This should be recorded and able to be watched through a link to Youtube. A letter of recommendation from your present teacher or a well known musician with whom you have collaborated recently should be sent with this application.

(NB: Both the video and letter are only required if the applicant is not known to the preferred professor.)

 

Repertoire:
Applicants must submit a list of pieces for study during the Festival. Final date for submitting changes to the list: 15th July 2022.

 

CV/ Photograph:

A short CV of 100 words and a high-resolution photograph should be submitted. These will be used for concert programmes during the Festival.

 

Insurance:
Each participant is responsible for their own personal medical insurance, civil liability, accident, risk and personal belongings, including insurance of his/her instrument.
